Let's get your artwork out of your iPhone / iPod touch and onto another system so you can share it and/or print it.
In each of the cases below, you should be viewing (but not editing) the page you wish to save.
To save a large JPEG
Here's how to get a high res JPG copy of your artwork.
- Tap the Tools button while viewing (not editing) a page.
- Tap "Save to photo album >"
- Choose an image size up to 9 megapixels (4 on the iPhone/iPod touch)
- Tap "Save now"
You can then use your device's email application to email the image, or use another application (such as Flickr) to upload it to a photo sharing site.
To get the JPG image onto to your computer
After creating a JPG as above...
- Connect your device to iTunes
- Sync with iTunes
- The image can be retrieved from your photos folder.
To send a PDF via email
Here's how to get a PDF document of your artwork sent to you or another person by email.
- Tap the Tools button while viewing (not editing) a page.
- Tap "Send via Email >"
- An email compose form appears with the PDF of your page attached.
- Complete the email form and click "Send" to transmit.
To share on Paintbook.ca
Paintbook.ca is an online community just for Paintbook users. You can upload your drawings to Paintbook.ca directly from the Paintbook application.

- Tap the Tools button while viewing (not editing) a page.
- Tap "Upload to Paintbook.ca"
