New Worlds Afoot
Posted 2009-Jul-20
I've been working on a few other projects recently, and unfortunately have to move out of my photography studio in the next week or two so have been pressed for time with PaintBook.
This time has been good for PaintBook, as sales are booming and it is becoming quite a popular and well regarded tool for artists and illustrators around the world. Thank you all for your efforts at making PaintBook and PaintBook.ca the success it is!
There will be a PaintBook 3.0, and it will be worth the wait. Features will include a number of things you have been asking for, and some things you haven't known you needed but will be unable to do without once you've got them.
I've also been having a discussion with a well-known organization about how PaintBook might be improved and integrated with their own projects, and if this relationship bears fruit I think we'll all be pleased and amazed with the results.
Thanks again, and keep painting!

No new posts since September? I'm concerned about the future of PaintBook...
But that won't stop me from inquiring about the possibility of layers and iPad compatibility in the next release. :)
I don't see many other vector-based drawing apps in the store.... keep it going Sean. !
Hello, i've been painting insanely since i bought Paintbook: please give us your third version! :-O
Hi Sean, Its been a long time and not even a blog post. Have you abandoned the app? Why not post some status here for your customers?

What's new? Did you find a new studio? Have you thought about starting a pool on Flickr for paintbook mixed with other apps? It would be good publicity I think! Those pools can get lots of traffic! Hope all is well and that update is coming soon!
Hopefully You will implement photo backgrounds. I do a lot of paintings on other applications and it would be a boon if I could use paintbook to make .pdf versions of those paintings.
Thanks for your work!
Hi Steve, what's new? Hope all is well and the update is coming soon! or are you waiting for the iTablet to come out? :-))
Hi Sean,
I would like to do a review of Paintbook for the MobilArt appstore ebook series. MobilArt1 and MobilArt2 are available as free downloads. Could you please get back to me at this address ipodartvol1@gmail.com?
